FATES is an immersive, narrative-driven, Web3 world. We’re on a journey to create the next big escapist experience - spanning entertainment, gaming, short films, literature, merchandise, and much more.
At the heart of Web3 are NFTs (digital certificates of ownership) that give players real-world control of their in-world characters and assets, as well as allowing them to participate more deeply in the universes they’re part of. This creates unique opportunities to contribute to, and shape, the world we’re building, together.
In FATES, a devastating and unstoppable force is consuming planet Earth. Known as the Braid, it is a threat to our entire existence.
Humanity will need to evacuate a ruined Earth and work together to build a new future within our solar system. As one of Earth’s evacuees, how will you shape the future of humanity?
You will need to discover your FATES Division in order to start you journey. Will you be Oath, Scout, Forge, Labs or Hive? You can do that here by answering a few questions that sort you into one of these important roles specially chosen to help the survival of humanity.
You’ll then progress to join the rest of the FATES community who are all survivors currently seeking shelter from the Braid in an underground facility (that is Discord!).
Following on from this, you can progress to becoming selected as a Pilot and become one of the first to evacuate Earth. There are only 10,000 Pilots that are being evacuated in four stages with Stage I having evacuated in 2022. Stage II, III and IV will evacuate throughout 2023.
Our universe uses Web3 technologies. This means it is decentralised and assets are fully player owned. We use the blockchain to hold information - meaning anyone can verify this information without needing to place trust in us as a private company - and Digital Assets (digital certificates of ownership on the blockchain as NFTs) to prove you are the sole, official holder of your in-world characters and assets.
We chose FATES to be Web3 based because we believe the next big step in entertainment should champion true player participation and ownership.
Yes! Although you will need to own at least one NFT to access our full range of content, there will always be a place for everyone in FATES.
We celebrate the purity of our viewership fans, who form the bedrock of communities - we’d be nothing without you! So, even if you never own anything, you can still enjoy being part of FATES.
Our roadmap is deep but deliberately hidden because the story of FATES is yet to be told. We’re building a true community where you’ll be at the heart of an ever-evolving story that will shape humanity’s future, through games, short films, interactive experiences, literature, and beyond.
